Gerardo Sanchez is a technical officer at the WHO European Centre for Environmental Health in Bonn (Germany), specialising in environmentally sustainable health systems and environmental health economics. Before joining WHO ECEH, Mr. Sanchez worked for the World Health Organisation in Japan, the World Bank in Washington DC, and as an independent consultant for governments and multilateral institutions in Latin America.

Speaker Ahmed Idhammad, Head of Sustainable Development - The Mohammed VI University Hospital of Marrakesh

Ahmed Idhammad has an Engineering degree from The National School of Mineral Industry in Rabat (Morocco) and a PhD-degree in Modelling and Computational Science from the Cadi Ayyad University of Marrakesh, Morocco. He is the Head of the Sustainable Development Unit at the Mohammed VI University Hospital Centre of Marrakesh (Morocco) and the Project Manager at the Marrakech Hospital University Center.

He is a member of various international associations such as Francophone Alliance for Quality and risk Management in Healthcare. His more recent work has been concentrated on Energy Efficiency and Climate Change.
