A practical approach to sustainable healthcare solutions when designing psychiatric intensive care units
This is a practical approach to sustainable healthcare solutions when designing psychiatric intensive care units. This site visit addresses the practical design process when applying a “healing architecture” focus for the special needs of psychiatric patients. The results can be seen in the newly built 16-patient ward, where the visual environment, interior design, technical design, access to the outdoors, and the overall layout are results of this focus.
