Side visit 5: Herlev wastewater treatment

A new wastewater treatment plant has been built at Herlev Hospital based on a public-private-innovation-partnership. On the visit you will hear about the development of the plant and its sustainable methods, which includes purifying the water from drug residues, endocrine disruptors, and antibiotic-resistant bacteria. The water is considered so clean that it can be safely released into the environment.
