Programme Manager, EcoBuy - City of Vienna

Thomas Mosor studied Food and Biotechnology and joined the Environmental Department in 1994. He specialized in air pollution control and as project leader of the first Viennese Climate Protection Programme (1995 – 1998) he was centrally involved in the establishment of Green Public Procurement in the City of Vienna. After years in the field of strategic urban air quality management he became head of the programme "EcoBuy" in 2012. Currently, he and his interdisciplinary team have been working on the advancement of EcoBuy towards more sustainability in public purchasing.
